Meet Donny and Lily, two adorable dogs who absolutely adore playing fetch together on their favorite beach. Their playful outings, however, often take an unexpected turn for their loving family, transforming into amusing games of hide-and-seek.

Recently, Lily and Donny’s owner, Reddit user Maryapc, enjoyed a day with her dogs along the rugged shoreline near their home in Australia. Naturally, she brought along a few balls to keep them entertained.
“When there are balls involved, nothing else matters,” Maryapc remarked to The Dodo.
Playing fetch on the diverse terrain, Lily and Donny strategically position themselves where they anticipate the ball might land or bounce. This playful habit also makes them surprisingly tricky to locate.
As far as “find the dog” photo challenges go, this one is notably more challenging than most. However, both Lily and Donny are indeed hiding in the picture.
Among the pair, Donny, the brown dog, is slightly easier to spot.
For those who haven’t located him yet, here’s a hint: Keep your eyes focused on the rock formations near the center of the photo.
Sure enough, there’s Donny, positioned closer to the foreground with his back to the camera.
Initially blending in with the rocky surroundings, Donny might have appeared like just another rock. However, upon closer inspection, his fur and tail unmistakably reveal his presence.
Lily, meanwhile, is a bit more elusive. But yes, she’s there somewhere.
A helpful hint offered by one eagle-eyed Reddit user describes Lily’s general vicinity:
“If you divide the image into 4 quadrants, [she’s] on the bottom right corner of the top left quadrant.”

“What’s amusing about Lily is that after she retrieves the ball, she often runs off and hides, with just an ear or part of her peeking out, eagerly awaiting the next throw,” Maryapc shared. “She’s really funny when she plays hide-and-seek like this.”
Lily certainly knows how to be stealthy!
Before posting the photo online, Maryapc first showed it to her family. Even they had a challenging time locating the two dogs.
“My dad had a hard time finding Lily and needed help,” Maryapc recounted. “When I finally pointed her out to him, he burst into laughter.”
It seems Lily’s talent for camouflage brought a lot of amusement to the family, creating a memorable moment of laughter and joy.
Despite their undeniable cuteness, Donny and Lily have a knack for blending into their surroundings and can be surprisingly easy to miss.
