“They had a rough start but are thriving.”
When a concerned individual contacted Joseph’s Legacy about kittens discovered taped up in a box, President Krista Snyder wasted no time in springing into action. Though sadly, such calls weren’t uncommon for her, each instance never failed to stir up a mix of emotions.
Upon arrival, Snyder was met with the heart-wrenching sight of a duct-taped box, containing a tiny kitten desperately seeking attention. “Things like this make me so angry,” Snyder lamented to The Dodo. “It is unbelievable that someone could abandon an animal in such a callous manner — sealing them in a box and leaving their fate to chance.”.
The two kittens, still in their infancy, appeared bewildered by their ordeal. However, fate had brought them to the attention of caring individuals.
“They were in pretty good condition, but they were still reliant on their mother for nourishment,” Snyder explained.
Dubbed Ginny and Georgia, the resilient duo quickly found solace in a foster home. Despite the trauma they endured, their bond remained unbreakable, serving as a source of healing and comfort.
“These girls are truly remarkable and deeply connected,” shared Ericka Enciso, their foster mom. “They had a rough start but are flourishing in the nurturing environment of their foster home, surrounded by furry companions.”
After weathering their harrowing experience, Ginny and Georgia eagerly anticipate finding their forever home together. With hearts full of hope, they look forward to a future where they can bask in the warmth of safety and love for the rest of their days.
