A beautiful husky was tied tightly to a pole, barely able to move.
Despite her situation, the dog’s spirit shone through — her eyes were bright, and her tail wagged as the stranger passed.
A Call For Help
Unsure how to help, the Good Samaritan snapped a photo and sent it to officers at the Pennsylvania SPCA.
By the time officers arrived, the dog — later named Justice — had been untied.
They spoke with her owner, explaining that keeping a dog restrained in that way was against the law.
A More Serious Situation Unfolds
Later that same day, authorities received video footage showing Justice being mistreated.
Officers rushed back to intervene — but by then, she had already been removed from the home and taken to ACCT Philly.
From there, Justice was transferred to the Pennsylvania SPCA for further care.
Injuries Beneath Her Smile
Once at the shelter, rescuers discovered the extent of what Justice had endured.
She had:
- A soiled coat
- Blood on her paws
- A fracture in her skull
Despite everything, Justice remained incredibly sweet.
“She was bright, alert and very friendly,” a PSPCA representative said.
Still Wagging Her Tail
Even while recovering, Justice hasn’t lost her joyful personality.
“Despite everything that happened, her tail still wags,” the shelter shared.
She continues to greet her caregivers with happiness, showing remarkable resilience.
A Brighter Future Ahead
Justice will spend the next few weeks healing under the care of the PSPCA.
Once she’s fully recovered, she’ll be ready to find a loving forever home.
Rescuers are hopeful she won’t have to wait long.
After everything she’s been through, one thing is certain — Justice deserves a life filled with kindness, comfort and love.
And soon, she’ll finally get it. 🐶💙

A beautiful husky was tied tightly to a pole, barely able to move.
Despite her situation, the dog’s spirit shone through — her eyes were bright, and her tail wagged as the stranger passed.
