“She’s literally perfect in every single way.”
Zoey Deutch could hardly contain her excitement before meeting Parsley, an adorable shelter dog, for a special Dream Date.
From the moment they saw each other, it was clear the feeling was mutual.
Parsley’s tiny tail wagged nonstop as she greeted Zoey with pure joy.
“She’s literally perfect in every single way,” Zoey said, smiling at her furry date.
Games, Treats And Getting To Know Each Other
Zoey didn’t arrive empty-handed. She brought plush roses for Parsley along with a lineup of playful activities designed to help them bond.
First up was Plinko — a game that dished out treats, silly challenges and fun get-to-know-you questions. During the game, Zoey learned that Parsley, who was rescued by Wags & Walks Adoption Center, absolutely loves being the center of attention.
Meanwhile, Zoey revealed she’s completely a dog person.
Next came a lively round of Jenga — made extra exciting with peanut butter spread on a few of the blocks. Parsley was clearly having the time of her life.
At one point, Zoey offered her strawberries, but Parsley wasn’t impressed.
“More of a cookies girl,” Zoey joked.
A Shared Love Of Dogs
Zoey, who stars in Nouvelle Vague, also spoke about her own dog, Maybelle. In fact, she loves Maybelle so much she even has a tattoo of her — and coincidentally, Maybelle looks a lot like Parsley.
The connection between Zoey and Parsley felt instant and genuine.
“It has been, in fact, a Dream Date! I think maybe my best first date ever,” Zoey said. “My favorite part was seeing how much fun and how excited Parsley has been.”
The Happiest Ending
While the Dream Date eventually came to an end, Parsley’s story was just beginning.
Soon after her special day with Zoey, Parsley found a loving forever home. To celebrate, she even enjoyed a joyride and a shopping spree to kick off her new life.
It was the perfect ending for a pup who deserved nothing less.
“I think she’s so special,” Zoey said — and now, Parsley has a family who feels exactly the same way.
