A recycling center faced an unexpected turn of events when a sizable goat created quite a commotion, leading to the evacuation of the facility.

Last Friday, chaos ensued as the animal ran wild throughout the Pitsea Recycling Centre in Essex. The county council, prioritizing safety, evacuated individuals from the premises. The capable staff managed to gently detain the goat once it concluded its impromptu exploration of the site.

The motive behind the goat’s decision to visit the recycling center remains a mystery. Typically, individuals utilizing the facility are required to pre-book a slot, a protocol the goat had evidently not adhered to.

Assistance in corralling the goat was provided by Leigh Perry, the manager of the nearby Essex Horse and Pony Protection Society, as the goat in question belonged to one of her neighbors. “It took a couple of us as the goat was not very cooperative,” she shared, recounting the amusing yet challenging effort to restore order.
