โDo you want to have a really cozy book afternoon?โ
When actress Raegan Revord found out sheโd be going on a Dodo Dream Date, she decided to make it extra special โ by starting a book club with her date, a 7-year-old pup named Kringle.
Kringle had recently been surrendered by his previous family and is now searching for a fresh start. So Raegan wanted to give him a cozy, comforting experience heโd never forget. The two quickly bonded, snuggling up and getting to know each other before diving into their brand-new book club.
โDo you want to have a really cozy book afternoon?โ Raegan asked Kringle in a video for The Dodo.

To make sure he was fully on board, Raegan presented him with two options โ a book or a TV remote. Without hesitation, Kringle chose the book.
โThis is my soulmate,โ Raegan said with a laugh.
As their afternoon unfolded, Raegan asked Kringle a few thoughtful questions, adding to his growing collection of toys, and quickly realized they shared very similar tastes in reading. Once the questions were done, she let Kringle in on a little secret: sheโs releasing her own book this September.

โItโs called Rules for Fake Girlfriends, and it has fake dating and a scavenger hunt,โ Raegan said, her excitement shining through.
She went on to share the inspiration behind the story, then answered a playful question: which literary character is Kringle most like? Her answer? Ron Weasley.
โI feel like heโs giving Ron Weasley,โ Raegan said. โRonโs very endearing and loud and fun โ but also really sweet.โ

To wrap up their dreamy book date, Raegan read aloud from her upcoming novel, and Kringle listened attentively, soaking up the cozy vibes โ and plenty of pets and scratches.

Though Raeganโs story has a happy ending in the works, Kringleโs chapter is still waiting to be written. This lovable pup is still single and hoping to find his forever home very soon.
