βThe interaction was a beautiful exchange …”
The holiday season is the busiest stretch of the year for delivery drivers. With nonstop routes and a long list of addresses to visit, many end up dropping off hundreds of packages in a single shift.
But even in the middle of the chaos, the job can come with heartwarming surprises.
Recently, homeowner Jenny Stafsholt received an alert that an Amazon order had been delivered. When she checked her doorbell camera, she discovered that the driver hadnβt just dropped off her packages β heβd also taken a moment to show some love to her three cats lounging on the porch.

Watching the footage, Stafsholt felt genuinely moved. βThe interaction was such a sweet little burst of holiday cheer,β she told The Dodo.
Her cats β Sam, Rip, and Eli β clearly appreciated being noticed, and the driver seemed just as thrilled to greet them.
The delivery driver, Kade Parson, explained that moments like these brighten his long days on the road.
βIβm a huge animal lover,β Parson told The Dodo. βIf a dog or cat comes to say hello and Iβve got a few seconds, you bet Iβm giving them a pet or a quick βgood boyβ or βgood girl.β Honestly, those tiny interactions are one of the best parts of my job.β
With countless more deliveries still to be made this season, customers β and their pets β can feel good knowing that compassionate workers like Parson are out spreading kindness one stop at a time.
