“Millie does NOT believe in taking turns.”
Millie was spending time outdoors with her family on a snowy hill near their home, watching the kids slide down on sleds. It was a brand-new experience for her — her very first encounter with snow, and the first time she’d ever seen a sled in action. It didn’t take long for her curiosity to turn into determination.
After observing the kids zoom downhill and haul the sled back up, Millie made her move. She grabbed the sled, planted her paws on it, and bolted downhill. Even though she kept tumbling off along the way, she couldn’t have been happier.
“Millie figured out sledding all by herself,” her mom shared on TikTok. “She even carries the sled back up like she’s saying, ‘Again!’”
When the kids tried to reclaim the sled for another turn, Millie had other plans.
“She absolutely does not believe in sharing,” her mom joked.
Time after time, Millie slid clumsily down the slope, then scooped up the sled in her mouth and raced back uphill, ready for another run. Eventually, it was time to head inside — a decision Millie strongly disagreed with.
Seeing how much joy the snowy adventure brought her pup, Millie’s mom decided to buy her a sled of her own. She even added fabric to the top, hoping to give Millie better grip.
“I definitely didn’t expect to buy my dog a sled today,” she wrote. “But here we are.”
Millie was thrilled when she saw her personal sled and wasted no time testing it out. The added padding didn’t last long, but that didn’t dampen her enthusiasm. Her mom is now on a mission to find the perfect sled just for her.
For now, Millie is happy with what she has. She’s officially embraced her new identity as a sled dog — and there’s no turning back. 🛷🐶
