“He will be with us forever …” ❤️

Sunnyhouse, a Korean cafe owned by Sunny Song and her family, has welcomed many visitors over the years. But one of their most beloved regulars was a street cat named Zoro, who often spent time on the cafe’s roof.

The family fed the cat regularly and assumed Zoro was a friendly male stray who simply needed care. Then one day, they noticed the cat’s belly getting bigger.

That was when they realized Zoro was actually Zara — and she was pregnant.

Not long after, Zara gave birth to four kittens on the roof of Sunnyhouse. Sadly, three of the babies appeared to be very sick. Before Song’s family could step in, Zara left with her one healthy kitten, leaving the weaker babies behind.

The situation quickly became dangerous.

One kitten fell near a ditch by the bathroom. Another crawled toward a hole in the roof, which led into the space behind the cafe’s kitchen wall. When he fell inside, the family only realized where he was because they could hear him crying.

The kitten’s meows were loud and distinct, and everyone began searching for the source of the sound.

Once they figured out that the cries were coming from behind the wall, the family tried to reach him. After a few unsuccessful attempts, they went to a nearby hardware store for help. When they explained what had happened, the workers kindly lent them the tools they needed instead of making them buy anything.

Back at the cafe, the Song family carefully began cutting into the wall. The kitten kept crying from the other side as they worked through the wood paneling.

Finally, they made a hole big enough to reach him.

Inside was a tiny black-and-white kitten with infected-looking eyes. The family named him Wall-E.

Sadly, two of the kittens did not survive. But Wall-E proved to be strong, lively and full of personality. Song brought him home, where he quickly won over the family and her other rescued cats.

Wall-E turned out to be affectionate, playful and easygoing. He loves being petted and often sleeps close to Song’s face or on her chest.

When he is not cuddling at home or playing with his cat siblings, Wall-E spends time at Sunnyhouse. There, he has become the cafe’s newest little employee — and a very popular one.

Customers love him, and Song jokes that he is already doing a great job bringing people into the cafe.

After greeting visitors, Wall-E usually curls up on a shelf bed and naps until closing time.

His family is still treating his eye and helping him grow stronger every day. But one thing is certain: Wall-E is home for good.

After everything he survived, the tiny kitten who cried from inside the wall has become part of the family forever.
