Mother’s Day took an unexpected turn for a family in Garden Grove, California, as their adventurous 2-year-old dog found herself in a precarious situation. Trapped behind a wall for hours, the family pet, Faye, needed a heroic rescue.
Equipped with thermal imaging technology, the dedicated firefighters pinpointed Faye’s location beneath the bathtub. The Orange County Fire Authority shared an incredible video on Facebook, capturing the moment firefighters carefully used a sledgehammer to create an opening large enough for Faye to escape. With gentle coaxing, the determined pup finally emerged to the relief and cheers of her rescuers.
The social media post described the heartwarming scene: “After crawling into a wall through a small plumbing access door in her Garden Grove home, and being stuck under the bathtub for two hours, Faye was thrilled to see the friendly faces of our firefighters.”
Yet, Faye’s family and rescuers alike have their suspicions about the curious canine’s future antics. “According to the family, Faye is probably already planning her next bit of mischief. Who knowsβ¦maybe weβll see her again soon!”
This memorable rescue highlights the bravery and ingenuity of our local firefighters, always ready to lend a handβeven to the furriest members of our community.
