There were SO many in there …

11 Puppies Rescued from a Sewer Pipe Just in Time

Rescuers Brady Oliveira and Alex Blumberg are no strangers to saving animals in need, but this time, the challenge was unlike anything they had faced before.

While out on a rescue mission, they heard faint cries coming from deep inside a large sewer pipe. Without hesitation, Blumberg decided there was only one way to reach themβ€”she had to crawl in.

A Risky Mission

β€œI don’t know how else we get them,” Oliveira said, watching Blumberg disappear into the darkness.

As she crawled deeper, tiny puppies started appearing, one by one. An assembly line quickly formed, with team members passing each rescued pup to safety.

β€œThey just keep coming out,” Oliveira exclaimed in disbelief.

A Family Reunited

By the end of the rescue, 11 newborn puppies had been pulled from the pipe. They hadn’t even opened their eyes yet, making it crucial to find their motherβ€”who was wandering nearby.

Once reunited, the mama dog instantly comforted her babies, and the entire family of 12 was transferred to the care of K9 Advocacy Manitoba.

A Happy Ending

If Blumberg hadn’t gone in, these tiny puppies might not have survived. Now, they’re safe, warm, and on their way to finding loving forever homes. ❀️
