“I could hardly believe it …”
After a tiring day at work, Florida resident Cassidy pulled into her driveway with the nagging sense that something β or someone β had its eyes on her.
Everything looked perfectly normal as she walked toward her front porch. But when her gaze fell on the decorative frog statue she keeps by the door, she realized something was β¦ different.
The statue didnβt look quite as still as usual.

βAs I was walking in after work, exhausted, I had to stop and drop everything to take a photo,β Cassidy told The Dodo.
Peeking out from the statueβs wide open mouth was a tiny pair of real eyes.
To Cassidyβs surprise, the statue had gained a living twin β a small frog had tucked himself neatly inside the hollow opening, blending in almost too well.
βI could hardly believe it,β Cassidy said.

The little amphibian had likely taken shelter after recent rain showers, choosing the most fitting refuge imaginable: a frog-shaped house of his own.
βIt was just too cute and funny,β Cassidy said. βLike the statue came to life.β
For a self-proclaimed frog enthusiast, the moment couldnβt have been more perfect.
βIt definitely lifted my mood after a long day,β Cassidy added.

The frog, meanwhile, seemed perfectly content, calmly peering out from his stone lookalike. Whether he plans to stay for good or was just passing through remains a mystery β but Cassidy already hopes heβll move in permanently.
βI would love if he made it his home,β she said.
