It happened unexpectedly fast! Jac Anderson was heading to her garage gym for a workout when she spotted a tiny, fluffy creature dart into the garage. Initially unsure of what was happening, she soon realized what this meant.
“The cat distribution system has finally come knocking on my door,” Anderson shared on TikTok.
The kitten had seemingly appeared out of nowhere and sought refuge in Andersonβs garage. Immediately determined to rescue her, Anderson’s partner joined her outside to witness the unfolding rescue mission. Anderson cautiously approached the hiding kitten, attempting to capture her. The kitten, however, had other plans.
Startled, the little ball of fur darted around the garage, bumping into things, until Anderson finally managed to wrap her in a blanket. The kitten was dirty and clearly had been on her own for some time. Anderson promptly scheduled a vet appointment for her new furry friend and settled her into a carrier with food and water.
At the vet, it was determined that the kitten was approximately 3 months old and had fleas, a respiratory infection, and an eye infection. Anderson obtained all the necessary medication and brought her home for much-needed rest. As the kitten, now affectionately named Muffin, began to recover, her playful and cuddly personality blossomed, and she developed a strong preference for sitting on Andersonβs lap.
Anderson is currently fostering Muffin, and once she’s fully healed, she plans to either adopt her officially or find her the perfect forever home. Prior to encountering Muffin, Anderson had a persistent feeling that a kitten would find its way into her yard. After several days of searching, Muffin indeed found her.
“Manifesting a cat works, so get outside and start looking,” Anderson joyfully concluded.
