Eddy the Brave Bayou Pup Is Ready for His Forever Home
When a Good Samaritan spotted a tiny face poking out of a flooded Houston bayou, they knew they had to act fast. The small pup, now known as Eddy, was clinging to a patch of reeds, shivering as the water surged around him. His rescuer didnโt hesitate โ they waded into the floodwaters and pulled him to safety.

Thanks to that act of bravery, Eddy made it out alive and found refuge at CAMO Rescue, where he was given the care and time he needed to decompress from the traumatic ordeal.
โHe was very scared and snappy,โ said Holly Dool, founder of CAMO Rescue, โbut has calmed down with some decompression time.โ

Despite his rough start, Eddy quickly began to show his sweet and playful personality. Heโs a big fan of zoomies in the yard, and absolutely loves kids. Heโs crate trained, gets along with other dogs, and is learning how to enjoy life again โ safely this time.
โHe loves people and often lies close to those he trusts,โ Dool said.
Now fully recovered, Eddy is ready for a forever family who will give him the love and patience he deserves. His perfect match? A home with people familiar with dogs, who understand that this brave little survivor has a lot of heart โ and a lot of cuddles to give.
From flooded bayou to hopeful beginnings, Eddyโs next adventure could be the best one yet โ a forever home filled with love. ๐พโค๏ธ
