Upon examination, TWC rescuers identified a minor cut on the swan’s beak as the source of bleeding. After cleaning and treating the wound, they kept him under observation for a few days to ensure his well-being. Once deemed fit, they released him back into the park.

As soon as the swan emerged from his enclosure, he caught sight of his partner in the distance. Overcome with emotion at the sight of his lost love, the swan raced toward her.

“It was like witnessing a scene from a fairytale romance,” Ann shared in a Facebook post. “It was so enchanting, I’ve never experienced anything quite like it in my 12 years of volunteering!”

Andrew Wight, TWC’s rescue manager, was equally moved by the reunion.

“Their joy at being reunited was palpable,” Wight remarked.

Gazing affectionately at each other, the swans exchanged gentle wing beats, clearly overjoyed.

Fully healed, the swan resumed his life in the park, grateful for his restored health and elated to be reunited with his partner.
