“It was just so funny.”
A few weeks ago, Jecuer was at his office in Madrid, Spain when he witnessed a humorous scene unfolding in the plaza below.
Glancing out the window, Jecuer spotted a man struggling to walk his dog, facing an unexpected challenge.
“I’m not sure if they were heading home or just starting their walk, but the dog suddenly refused to budge,” Jecuer recalled. “It was quite a sight.”
The standoff continued for several minutes until the owner successfully coaxed the dog into moving again.
Jecuer shared the video online, and it quickly went viral, accumulating over a million views. One of the viewers was Chomin.
As it turned out, Chomin and his dog, Louie, were the stars of the viral video. Chomin was surprised by the video’s popularity, as Louie’s playful protests are a regular occurrence.
“It happens often,” Chomin said. “When he realizes we’re heading home, he often sits down and wants to play instead of walk.”
Chomin explained that bystanders enjoy Louie’s antics, often stopping to admire him or ask for a cuddle.
“He attracts a lot of attention,” Chomin added. “People love to pet him and comment on his charm. Louie revels in the attention, even if it means extending our morning walks by a couple of hours.”
