They were waiting all night long π
From Abandonment to Love: A Cat Familyβs Journey
A Shocking Discovery
One rainy morning, as an employee arrived at Pet Rescue Solutions, she noticed something unusual near the building. A black blanket, drenched from the overnight rain, lay discarded under a tree. Something was underneath.

With a sinking feeling, she lifted the blanket and found a pet carrier inside. Huddled together inside the tiny space was a young mother cat and her three kittens, cold, hungry, and afraid.
A Night of Uncertainty

βWe do not know when they were dropped off,β said Eva Rainwater, director of Pet Rescue Solutions. βWe know that it rained a lot all night before, and the blanket was soaked. They must have been there the night before.β
The tiny family had endured a long, wet night, abandoned with no protection from the cold.
A Second Chance
Inside the rescue, staff quickly examined the brave mama cat, who was still just a kitten herselfβonly 6 or 7 months old. Her three 1.5-month-old kittens were frail but otherwise healthy.
They were starving but safe now.

The rescue named the mama cat Flow, after the animated film that recently won two Oscars. The kittens remain nameless for now as staff take time to get to know their personalities.
A Bright Future Ahead
Despite their rough start, Flow and her babies are thriving in their new environment.
Theyβve gone from shivering in the rain to receiving unconditional love, and soon, each of them will find their forever home.
Their days of abandonment are over, replaced by warmth, safety, and a future filled with love.
