“This is amazing!” Dog groomer Carol, who owns Lazy Daisy Mobile Pet Spa LLC in California, is no stranger to receiving pup-related calls — she is a dog groomer, after all.
But one day, when her phone rang, even she was caught off guard by who was on the other line. Turns out, a dog-fluencer named Luna the Pittie and her owner had decided to pull a little gag on Carol — calling her out of the blue to let Luna do the talking.
In short, Carol got prank called by a pup.
“I wasn’t sure how to respond, but thought it was quite funny,” Carol said.
She handled it like a pro:
Luna wasn’t a client of Carol’s; it seems as though they’d picked her business to call at random. But she hardly felt miffed at all by the lighthearted lark.
When the clip of the call went viral online, Carol loved it. Since then, Luna has starred in several other “prank call” videos, in which the vocal pup greets unsuspecting answerers. Carol the groomer is pleased to count herself among them.
“[I wasn’t familiar with Luna] at first,” she said. “But after hearing what happened, I’m now a huge fan of hers.”
