Aleza Posner-Clevenger already had six cats, but when she saw a picture of Lazlo, a kitten rescued from a storm drain and available for adoption through Feline Rescue Association, she knew she had to have him.

Lazlo joined the family about nine months ago, and from the moment he was adopted, he’s been an absolute chaos machine.

β€œMy cats were a disorganized band of half-hearted outlaws until he arrived and took charge,” Posner-Clevenger said. β€œNow I have a gang of professional thieves living in my home.”

Lazlo has two extra toes on each front foot and uses them like thumbs, allowing him to lead the way for all kinds of mischief-making. He rummages through the trash in the middle of the night, breaks into cabinets to look for treats, chews through bread bags to grab a mouthful, and countless other illicit activities. His family can barely keep up before he’s moved on to his next crime.

Recently, Lazlo was hanging out when his mom noticed another unique feature on his body besides his extra toes.

β€œI think I didn’t notice until then because he is very rarely sitting still and looking serene,” Posner-Clevenger said. β€œIf he isn’t running around like crazy, he is sleeping on my lap β€” there’s really no in-between.”

On that day, Lazlo decided to pause for a moment β€” and that’s how his mom finally saw the markings on his chest that looked exactly like a cat butt.

Lazlo was already unlike any cat his mom had ever met, and the cute little cat butt on his chest just added to all the reasons he’s truly one of a kind.

Lazlo’s mom posted his markings on Facebook so everyone else could enjoy the cat butt, too, and people got quite the kick out of it.

β€œHe is one of the sweetest and most mischievous cats I have ever had, and I’ve had a lot of cats in my life,” Posner-Clevenger said.
