“He was so tiny π
Meet Frankie β a pit bull puppy whose journey began inside a Pampers diaper box. It was April when Frankie was left abandoned in that box, callously discarded curbside in Buffalo, New York. Desperate for aid, little Frankie poked his head out from the makeshift cardboard shelter, hoping for someone to notice him.
Eventually, Robin, a local business owner, spotted Frankie outside her store. Robin, a steadfast supporter of West Side Cat Rescue, didn’t hesitate to reach out to the shelter for assistance, holding onto hope that their expertise extended to helping dogs as well.
Upon receiving Robin’s call, Jamie Mulligan, the founder of West Side Cat Rescue, couldn’t shake the feeling that Frankie’s abandonment outside Robin’s establishment was no mere coincidence.
“We suspect someone knew he would be taken care of and that Robin would do the right thing,” a representative from West Side Cat Rescue shared.
“It seems Jamie’s daughter has grown quite attached,” the representative shared. “Percy is now officially a foster fail!”
Under the loving care of his new mom, Percy’s life has taken a turn for the better.
“He will never ever be abandoned in a box again,” West Side Cat Rescue emphasized in a Facebook post. “He will only receive the best from now on!”
