“He was alone and scared.”
Clodagh Neville felt a pang of concern when she heard frantic cries at the end of her driveway. Investigating the noise, she discovered a tiny, fuzzy kitten darting around, desperately calling for help.
“He was all alone and frightened,” Neville shared on TikTok.
The little ball of fluff, now in Neville’s front yard, was initially wary of her presence. Noticing his infected right eye and realizing he couldn’t survive on his own outside, Neville patiently worked to earn his trust.
“He couldn’t even open his eye,” Neville noted.
Eventually, the kitten began to cautiously sniff Neville, sensing that she meant no harm. Once he trusted her, she gently wrapped him up.
“I managed to catch him and wrap him up,” Neville wrote. “He was very calm and didn’t resist, such a good boy.”
Inside, the kitten explored his new environment and immediately bonded with Neville, showering her with affection.
“I guess I’m a cat mom now,” Neville humorously remarked.
The following morning, Neville took her new feline friend, whom she named Tobi, to the vet for treatment of his eye infection and any other health concerns. Tobi adapted well to the care he received, quickly understanding that he was safe and loved.
Tobi is now thriving. His infection is clearing up, and he has become a playful, inquisitive kitten. Settling into his new home, Neville is overjoyed with how everything turned out.
“I am so grateful for the cat distribution system for bringing him into my life,” Neville said.
