Bryce Dallas Howard Falls Head Over Paws for Her Dodo Dream Date, Tator
From the moment actress Bryce Dallas Howard met sweet rescue pup Tator, it was love at first lick. Their instant connection unfolded during a special episode of The Dodo Dream Date, and the PDA was off the charts.
“You want this rose, or you just want my lips?” Bryce joked, clearly smitten.
Funnily enough, Bryce’s own childhood nickname was Tator, making their meeting feel even more serendipitous. The two quickly dove into a playful game of The Dodo Mystery Wall, pulling surprises from various cubbies — most of which involved treats, toys, and questions about pets.
Tator, unsurprisingly, went straight for the treats.
“Listen, I’m the same way,” Bryce laughed. “I prefer food to materialistic things.”
As they explored the cubbies, Bryce shared adorable tidbits about her own pets — including a cat who loves to ride on guests’ shoulders like a pirate parrot.
“It’s how you get introduced when you come to my house,” she said. “Like, ‘Welcome! Want something to drink? Just a heads up, the cat’s going to jump on you at some point.’”
She also took a moment to talk about her upcoming documentary “Pets”, premiering April 11 on Disney+. The film celebrates the bond between humans and their animals — a relationship Bryce knows well.
“I grew up in a home where there were always pets and humans coexisting,” she said. “It’s a celebration of that relationship.”
The date wrapped up with a relaxing spa moment, as Bryce brushed Tator’s coat while gushing over what a catch she is.
