A Furry Connection: Gibby Chooses His Forever Home
From the moment Rhea Montavon stepped into the shelter, Gibby, an affectionate cat, knew she was meant to be his new mom. The bond was immediate, and Montavon felt it too. Ever since that fateful day, the two have been inseparable, sharing countless playful moments and enduring Gibby’s mischievous antics with love and laughter.
Gibby’s Love for Technology: The Printer Obsession
Montavon used to have a printer for work, and Gibby quickly became fascinated with it. He loved batting at the papers as his mom tried to scan documents. So, when Montavon recently upgraded to a new printer with a copier, it didn’t take long for Gibby to get involved in his favorite pastime again.
“As I was setting it up, he of course wanted to check it out,” Montavon shared. “I opened it up, and he plopped right on top. I just knew I had to do a scan.”
Unplanned Artwork: Gibby’s First Masterpiece
Curious to see what would happen, Montavon decided to let the copier do its thing. Gibby, ever the inquisitive cat, watched the process closely, unfazed by the noise or movement. “He watched very intently, and I pet him to make sure he wasn’t scared,” Montavon said. “He didn’t even mind. Once the printing started, he just laid down and watched the paper come out.”
The result? A hilarious and oddly adorable scan of Gibby’s paws. The image, with its quirky perspective, made it look as though his paws were detached from his body. While unusual, it was exactly what Montavon had hoped for.
A Priceless Creation: Gibby’s Paws on Display
“I absolutely loved it,” Montavon said proudly. So much so that she framed the artwork and hung it on her wall, turning Gibby’s playful exploration into a cherished piece of home décor.
Though Gibby’s paws might have become instant art, Montavon joked that their creative streak might need to take a break. “I ended up making two scans of his beans and used, like, 75 percent of the black ink right off the bat,” she laughed.
A Paw-some Collaboration
