He was thrown out like garbage.

Mission Paws’ible founder Prue Barber spotted Stanley and immediately knew something was wrong.
“He just looked at me… and he was just a love,” she said.
She rushed him to the vet, where the situation turned out to be critical:
- Covered in sores
- Extremely underweight
- Dangerous bloodwork levels
“It was touch and go.”

- He became playful, energetic, and full of life

Stanley was placed in foster care with a woman named Scarlett — and the bond was instant.
- He followed her everywhere
- Slept curled up beside her
- Made it clear he had found his human
It didn’t take long for Scarlett to decide:
