Two rescued jungle cats have been reunited at a Lincolnshire wildlife park after months of rehabilitation.
Teddy, a male, and Binks, a female, were just days away from being euthanised when the Ark Wildlife Park near Boston stepped in. Their rescue came after a Hertfordshire zoo was forced to close and rehome its animals.
Park owner Jamie Mintram explained that Teddy’s recovery took longer due to more serious health problems. Now fully cleared by vets, he has joined Binks in a new enclosure.
“They’re getting on brilliantly, and he’s got a whole new lease of life,” Mintram said.

Jungle cats, native to the Middle East and parts of Central, South and Southeast Asia, are slightly larger than domestic cats. While most are light brown, Binks is a rare black jungle cat.
Binks made a swift recovery and left quarantine quickly, but Teddy faced bigger challenges. He was overweight, with high cholesterol and mobility issues.
Since moving in with Binks on Monday, Teddy has been settling in well, exploring his new habitat, and is now ready to meet park visitors.
