Two Frozen Kittens Saved From a Storm Become Shoulder-Riding Sidekicks
After a heavy hailstorm swept through Tuscany, Italy, artist Caleb Screpnek spotted what looked like a pile of wet fur in the grass. Upon closer inspection, he found two tiny, freezing kittens—left behind when their mother moved the rest of her litter.
Without hesitation, Caleb took them home, warmed them up, fed them, and showered them with care. The kittens, later named Cici and Nunu, were initially scared but quickly bonded with Caleb, refusing to leave his side.
