A new private campground is inviting campers to enhance their outdoor experience by sharing it with some irresistibly adorable furry companions. Olich Creek Farm has announced the opening of its grounds in March, welcoming two families or groups at a time to camp and immerse themselves in the scenic beauty alongside the resident animals.
Spanning 27 acres, this farm serves as a sanctuary for old and rescued animals, including sheep, goats, miniature horses, and even a giant pig. Embracing a unique camping concept, the farm offers visitors the chance to interact with these charming creatures while enjoying a serene getaway. However, to ensure the tranquility of the animals, the farm limits occupancy to two families at a time. In a recent Facebook post unveiling the opening details, Olich Creek Farm expressed their commitment to preserving the peace of the wildlife, stating, βWe have an abundance of wildlife here and prefer to keep human activity here to a minimum to respect the animals and their habitat.β
Moreover, the campground extends its hospitality to pets, providing an off-leash dog area and inviting furry companions to frolic in the swimming holes alongside their human counterparts.
Nestled in Ashton Creek, just east of Enderby, the grounds offer visitors the freedom to select their own tent site for $35 per night or opt for the convenience of the farmβs RV site at $50 per night.
